Hiding email id - idea #3

If you have a blog and have put your email address on it then you should be prepared to separate some time to delete spam mails everyday. There are email crawler, or email extractor which scans the web pages for email patterns. If the program finds an email pattern then it will extract the email and it to their “for spamming” database. There are various ways of hiding your email ids from automated programs.

No spam for emails

Method 1:
Post image of your email, AjiNIMC added his scanned visiting card.

Method 2:
Have a contact us page and do the programming.

Method 3:
Stop unknown bots from clawing your pages either by using robots.tx, .htaccess or other programming. I doubt whether spammers respect robots.txt. .htaccess and other programming can be risky as you many block some good bots too.

Method 4:
Have an encrypted email id. This is cool stuff. There are plenty of websites doing this but AjiNIMC recommended one which is http://automaticlabs.com/products/enkoderform. This encryption is really good and can’t be cracked easily.

Method 5:
The simplest of all is to use blog planner. This is a JavaScript based and no one can ever extract the email ids unless they capture the screenshot of the webpage and then extract the image pattern for emails. Nothing better can be asked, try it now. See an example below,
